Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic thanked the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his support and condemnation of the armed attack on the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico on X, Paralel.Az reports.

Slovakian MFA expressed gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for his immediate reaction and words of support on X.

Note that President Ilham Aliyev shared a post on his official X account vehemently condemning the attempted assassination of Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico.

"I am shocked and appalled by the assassination attempt on Prime Minister Robert Fico. I strongly condemn this attack. My thoughts are with Prime Minister Fico, his family, and the Slovak people. I wish him the soonest recovery." the head of state noted.
