Pentagon sees possibility of sending more antipersonnel landmines to Ukraine

The United States does not rule out the possibility of including antipersonnel landmines into its future arms deliveries to Ukraine, Department of Defense Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh has told reporters, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.

"They were included in the most recent drawdown. In terms of further packages, I just don't have more to preview," she said.

When asked whether antipersonnel landmines could be provided in future US assistance packages, she replied: "Sure."

She gave no direct answer to the question of how Washington was planning to control Kyiv's use of US landmines.
