Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has issued instructions to take urgent measures to ensure the security of key military and civilian facilities in connection with the escalation around Ukraine, the press secretary of Kazakh President Berik Uali said, Paralel.Az reports.

He stated that the situation in the country remains under the direct control of the President.

According to him, relevant agencies have been instructed regarding the protection of strategic and infrastructure facilities.
