The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shared a post on its X account in connection with the Republic Day of Türkiye, Paralel.Az reports.

"October 29 - on the Republic Day of our ally, the Republic of Türkiye, we celebrate the 101st anniversary of the foundation of our brother nation.

On this honorable day, we pay tribute to the cherished memory of the great Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as the martyrs who sacrificed their lives and the veterans who gave up their health in the struggle for the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Republic of Türkiye, a cradle of justice and progress in the region and the world, and the unparalleled Azerbaijan-Türkiye brotherhood in the region and on the international stage, will live on forever," the post reads.

Noted that Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also shared a post about this on the social network X.

The post states: "Today marks the 101st anniversary of the founding of our brotherly and allied Republic of Türkiye.

On this cherished day, we honor the cherished memory of the founders, martyrs, and veterans of our brotherly nation with deep respect and wish for the continued strength and development of the Republic of Türkiye.

Happy holiday!"
