"Astana is ready to play the role of a platform for negotiations on a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan," said the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, during the phone call with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Paralel.Az reports.

Azerbaijan's head of state noted that the proposal to hold these talks between the two countries in Astana is acceptable for Azerbaijan.
