Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Justice Minister Constant Mutamba tested positive for poison, Paralel.Az reports citing Congolese news portal Actualite.

Forensic experts reportedly found suspicious substances, including white powder and a pungent gas, in the minister's office and nearby areas. Several staff members were also reportedly affected and are currently receiving medical care.

The authorities are treating these events as a direct threat to the minister's ongoing efforts to reform the Congolese justice system.
