"Thoughts sounded by Frank Schwabe, whose name is known in several corruption cases, dark business relations, about Azerbaijan and country leadership show how biased, fake, and hypocritical a politician this person is," said head of Press Service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aykhan Hajizadeh, Paralel.Az reports.

Opinions voiced against the political leadership of Azerbaijan, which is one of the leading countries in terms of political stability, economic development and progress indicators, are primarily evaluated as prejudice against the success of the country. At the same time, it is a fact that the steps taken by us towards the liberation of our lands, which have been under occupation for nearly 30 years, and the independent policy we conduct do not coincide with the insidious intentions of people like Schwabe, and worries them.

Frank Schwabe is well aware that the only reason why PACE observers were not invited to observe the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament is that the mandate of the Azerbaijani delegation has not yet been restored despite the political promises given to our country, including by German officials.

Expressing concern about relations with Azerbaijan-Russia, it would be appropriate for Schwabe to speak about the people who cooperate with Russia in Germany and PACE, and even closely cooperate with Russia's Gazprom company today.

Regarding Schwabe's intention to visit our country within the framework of COP29, we should note that those who voted against the Azerbaijani delegation at PACE were included in the list of "undesirable persons". If the mentioned persons come to Azerbaijan until the mandate of our delegation in PACE is restored, they will not be allowed to enter the territory of the country.
