Tripartite meeting between Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs and U.S. Secretary of State kicked off - PHOTO-UPDATED

 

On 10 July 2024, under the initiative and with participation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in Washington, D.C. in the framework of their participation at the NATO 75th Anniversary Summit, Paralel.Az reports citing Press service of MFA.

The parties noted the progress Azerbaijan and Armenia have achieved towards the conclusion of an historic agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations, and agreed to continue the work.

The two parties have expressed their gratitude to the Secretary of State for hosting the meeting.

The Ministry noted that within the framework of NATO75 Summit, Azerbaijan-Armenia negotiations on the agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between the two countries have just started in Washington D.C. with the participation of Foreign Ministers Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan at the initiative and with participation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
