Remains of First Garabagh war martyr Yariyev Ganbar laid to rest in Salyan-PHOTO
The remains of the martyr Yariyev Ganbar Teymur, who went missing in the Garabagh war and whose remains were found after 32 years, have been handed over to his family in Salyan, Paralel.Az's Mil-Mugan bureau reports.
The remains of the martyr were received by the residents of Salyan with a large crowd and brought to the house where he was born and raised, and where his family still lives.
A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr. The ceremony was attended by the martyr's relatives, the district community, military personnel, war participants, and public representatives.
After the farewell ceremony, the remains of the martyr were laid to rest at the Alley of Martyrs.
Note that Yariyev Ganbar was born in Salyan in 1966. He voluntarily joined the battles during the First Garabagh War. On January 26, 1992, he went missing during the fighting in the area of Dashalty village in Shusha district. His remains were discovered in a mass grave in Dashalty village.
