The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye has welcomed Armenia’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine, the Ministry released a statement in this regard, Paralel.Az reports.

"We welcome Armenia’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine, following countries such as Spain, Ireland, Norway and Slovenia. As we have always emphasized, the recognition of Palestine is a requirement of international law, justice and conscience. Türkiye will continue its efforts for more countries to recognize Palestine," the statement reads.

Recall that today the Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the recognition of Palestine as a state.
