The Russian peacekeepers will be involved in demining operations in Azerbaijan’s Khojaly, said Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) at the briefing held on the occasion of April 4 - International Day of Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, Paralel.Az reports.

It was noted that some paperwork is underway regarding the involvement of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in demining operations: “They are already undergoing accreditation. Equipments, dogs and manpower will soon start the demining process in Khojaly.”
