EU proposes new Russia sanctions over death of Alexey Navalny
The European Union will propose new sanctions related to the death of the Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny in an arctic prison last month, Paralel.Az reports citing Bloomberg.
The restrictive measures will include 35 persons and two entities, according to a draft of the proposal seen by Bloomberg.
Note that on February 16, the prison service of the Yamalo-Nenets region issued a statement on Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's death.
"On February 16, 2024, in correctional colony No 3, convict A A Navalny felt unwell after a walk, almost immediately losing consciousness," the statement said.
