Iran plans to close its land borders with neighboring countries, said Kioumars Heidari, the Commander of Iran’s Army Ground Force Brigadier General, Paralel.Az reports.

Heidari noted that, Iran has never intended to threaten the neighboring countries, violate their borders or invade them:

"This is not unfair against neighboring countries. All countries have the authority to close their borders."
