As Paralel.az reports, Asiman Hasanova, a resident of the Binagadi region, complains that the overhead pedestrian crossing at 189 Azadlig Avenue is difficult.
In the complaint, he noted that the passage can only be used with an escalator. However, in 2021, the transition barely worked. Due to the large distance between the stairs, citizens find it difficult to climb the passage.
According to the applicant, not far from the crossing there is a women's clinic where pregnant women suffer.
Anar Najafli, press secretary of the State Agency for Highways of Azerbaijan (AAYDA), has reported that spare parts for the escalator have already been ordered from abroad and will soon be resolved.
