In March this year, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population for the first time in our country began to provide disabled people with motorized wheelchairs.
In the past, this category of people, including war invalids, was provided with about 700 motorized wheelchairs.
The wheel seats are manufactured by the Turkish company Wollex. These seats, which allow people with disabilities to move freely, are engine driven and delightful. The steering wheel has a steering wheel, horn and five-speed control buttons for user convenience. These wheelchairs, which can move downhill at a 12-degree angle, cover distances of up to 20 km at full power.
At the same time, this year the ministry provided 933 mechanical wheelchairs to disabled people. Thus, in the past period of the current year, a total of more than 1600 people from this category were provided with wheelchairs.
