Baku hosts meeting of Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission
The 22nd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Baku, Paralel.Az reports.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Co-chair of the Commission from the Azerbaijani side Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk from the Russian side, as well as representatives of relevant structures.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the comprehensive development of the centuries-old relations between the two countries. It was noted that this is based on the atmosphere of trust between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, and the political will of both leaders. As a result, interstate relations progress in an environment of strategic cooperation and mutual partnership.
Additionally, the dynamics of cooperation in the agricultural sector of both countries were highlighted with satisfaction. Azerbaijan is one of the top 10 countries exporting agricultural products to Russia.
