Israeli army plans to eliminate new Hamas leader
The Israeli army will seek to eliminate the new head of the Hamas Politburo Yahya Sinwar, the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli army Herzi Halevi said, Paralel.Az reports.
The Chief of the General Staff said the Israeli army would try to strike him so that Hamas would again look for a new Politburo chief.
Speaking to the Israel Air Force personnel, Halevi noted that, from the point of view of the Israeli military command, the appointment to a political position does not relieve Sinwar of responsibility for his participation in the preparation of last year's attack on Israel by Hamas militants.
