A meeting was held in Shusha between Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy, Co-Chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of Economy of the UAE, Co-Chairman of the Commission, the Ministry of Economy told Paralel.Az-Economics.

The parties discussed issues such as the strengthening of the partnership between the two countries, the realization of joint initiatives in "green" energy and other fields, and potential directions of cooperation within COP29.

At the meeting, a Protocol was signed on the outcomes of the 9th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The document was signed by the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission: Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, and the UAE's Minister of Economy, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri.
