Remains of martyr Mughan Aliyev, discovered in Edilli, were buried in Azerbaijan's Fuzuli

 

A farewell ceremony was held for Mughan Aliyev Garay, who went missing during the battles for the Chiman and Juvarli villages of the Fuzuli district during the First Garabagh War, Paralel.Az's local bureau reports.

The remains of the martyr Mughan Aliyev Garay were discovered in a mass grave in the village of Edilli, Khojavand, and were buried in Fuzuli city 32 years later.

The body of martyr Mughan Aliyev was brought to the Ikinci Mahmudlu village mosque and a farewell ceremony was organized. The ceremony was attended by the martyr's family members, district leadership, war veterans, and public representatives. Funeral prayers were held in the mosque, and prayers were offered for the souls of the martyrs. The remains of the martyr were then laid to rest in the cemetery in the liberated city of Fuzuli.

Note that Mughan Aliyev Garay was born in 1958 in the Chiman village of Fuzuli district. He joined the battles when the First Garabagh War began. On April 12, 1992, he went missing during the battles for the villages of Chiman and Juvarli in the Fuzuli district. After that, his family lost contact with him.
