The Russian Federation Council adopted a statement on the suspension of the activity of the Russian delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and suspension of payments to the organization's budget, Paralel.Az’s Moscow correspondent reports.

According to the information, a decision on this was made at today's meeting of the upper chamber of the Russian parliament.

The Chairwoman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, asked to immediately send a telegram to the OSCE PA regarding the decision of the Russian parliament to suspend its participation in it.
