Hezbollah spokesman dies in Israeli attack on Beirut
Hezbollah spokesman Mohammad Afif had been killed by an Israeli air raid on Beirut’s Ras al-Nabaa quarters, the Al Jazeera television channel said, citing sources in the Lebanese security service, Paralel.Az reports.
According to the television channel, Afif was inside the building housing the headquarters of the pro-Syrian Arab Socialist Baath Party. At least two strikes were delivered on this building.
According to the Lebanese health ministry, the attack left five people dead and dozens wounded.
The party’s leader, Ali Hijazi told Al Jazeera that he is safe because he was not inside the office at the moment.
