Armenian top diplomat will not participate in CSTO Foreign Ministers Council Meeting

 

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will not participate in the session of the CSTO Foreign Ministers Council to be held on June 21 in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan, Ani Badalyan, spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, said in response to an inquiry from Armenpress, Paralel.Az reports.

Note that In February 2024, Armenia announced the suspension of its membership in the CSTO and later refused to pay its membership fees to the organization. On June 12, during a speech in the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not rule out the possibility that Armenia might leave the CSTO in the future.
