Azerbaijani FM: Negotiations in Almaty testify effectiveness of bilateral peace process with Armenia
Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, in a meeting with Louis Bono, U.S. Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations, informed him in detail about the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period, the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the direction of the normalization and peace process, as well as the latest developments on the peace agenda, Azerbaijan's MFA told Paralel.Az.
The minister underlined that the recent agreement reached between the delimitation commissions, which includes the return of 4 villages of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia, once again confirmed the usefulness of the bilateral negotiation process in terms of making a real contribution to regional peace and confidence building.
Emphasized that the negotiations held in a constructive spirit in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on May 10-11, 2024, testify the effectiveness of the bilateral peace process.
