Azerbaijani FM: There is strong political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Pakistan
During today's meeting, we had several discussions on our multidimensional bilateral agenda, strategic partnership in multiple areas, possibilities of elevation of our relations to the next level, and exchanged views on the recent developments in our regions, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart in Islamabad, Paralel.Az reports.
"In addition to our bilateral partnership, multilateral cooperation formats contribute to bringing us closer and further strengthening the positions of our countries at the regional and global levels.
Azerbaijan attaches importance to mutually beneficial cooperation and support on multilateral platforms including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia Azerbaijan will hold a chairmanship for 2024-2026 and the Economic Cooperation Organization to name a few", Jeyhun Bayramov said.
The Minister noted that there are strong political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and there are broad opportunities to further deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries: "We have to invigorate our economic cooperation and make it more comprehensive considering joint investment projects in energy, information technology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, chemistry, tourism, transportation, heavy and light industry. We believe that the next 8 sessions of the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission, to be held in Islamabad later this year, will further at impetus to economic cooperation."
