Foreign Minister: Return of long-time Armenian occupied villages to Azerbaijan positively contributes to normalization track

 

“Today, I briefed my Pakistani colleague Mohammad Ishaq Dar about the post-conflict situation in our region," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart in Islamabad, Paralel.Az reports.

According to him, he informed Pakistani Foreign Minister about Azerbaijan’s rehabilitation and reconstruction works in the liberated territories: "I noted that the long-standing landmines threat challenges out efforts."

Azerbaijani Minister noted that the recent agreement on the delimitation of a certain portion of border between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the return of long-time Armenian occupied villages to Azerbaijan, positively contributes to the normalization track: “Azerbaijan is commited to the peace process and we hope it will yield positive results for prosperous and secure region for all countries.”
