The remains of the martyr Elbrus Isagov Isag, who went missing during the First Garabagh War and whose identity was determined 30 years later, were laid to rest, Paralel.Az's southern bureau reports.
The remains of the martyr Elbrus Isagov Isag were handed over to his family living in Jabrayil settlement No. 1 in Bilasuvar district.
A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr in the settlement. Relatives of the martyr, village residents, leaders of the region, families of martyrs, and veterans participated in the farewell ceremony.
The remains of the martyr were laid to rest in the settlement's Alley of Martyrs.
Note that martyr Elbrus Isagov Isag, who went missing in the First Garabagh War, was found buried as an unknown martyr in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja, and he was identified.
Elbrus Isagov Isag, born in 1966, served in Afghanistan in 1984-1986.
He voluntarily joined the battles in Garabagh. He started fighting as a special officer from the Murovdag range. He showed heroism in the defense of Omar Pass. After February 11, 1994, Elbrus Isakov was considered as missing person.
