Armenian police detain six protesting against PM Pashinyan in Yerevan, confiscate their weapons

 

Armenian police have detained 6 people suspected of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition in Etchmiadzin district of Yerevan, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, Paralel.Az reports citing Sputnik-Armenia.

The local media reported earlier that several residents of the city were detained in the morning. It was noted that they gathered in front of one of the local schools as a sign of protest against the visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is expected to arrive in the area in the next few hours.

Note that N. Pashinyan is expected to visit the mentioned school.
