Over 6,100 people evacuated from flood zone in Orenburg Region

 

More than 6,100 people, including almost 1,500 children, have been evacuated from flooded areas in Russia’s Orenburg Region, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.

"Overall, 6,127 people, including 1,478 children, have been evacuated from flooded residences, with more than 1,000 people placed in temporary accommodation centers," the press service of the regional government said.

It added that 570 farm animals from the flooded areas had been taken to safety.
