Azerbaijan and Romania are strategic partners, Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev said at a briefing held after the 8th meeting of the Joint Commission on economic-trade relations and scientific-technical cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Romania, Paralel.Az reports.

He reminded that Romania was one of the states that supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan during the period of conflict.

“I hope that this visit will contribute to expanding our partnership. We plan to expand our relations with Romania in various fields,” the Minister noted.
