Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić is on a visit to Azerbaijan, Secretary General Burić noted on her X account, Paralel.Az reports.

"As I start my official visit to Azerbaijan I welcome today’s joint statement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. A positive step in the right direction. Council of Europe continues to be ready to assist both sides to achieve lasting peace," the Secretary General of the Council of Europe noted.
