Iran officials lift restrictions, resume flights nationwide early Oct. 7

As of early Oct. 7, Iran's Civil Aviation Authority has lifted nationwide flight restrictions and airport closures that had previously been imposed out of concern over potential retaliation for the nation's Oct. 1 missile attack on Israel, Paralel.Az reports citing Iranian media.

Airports across Iran are slated to resume flight operations.

Lingering flight disruptions are likely as carriers reposition aircraft and work through their passenger backlogs. Some airlines may opt to continue ongoing voluntary suspensions of their services to Iran as a precaution. The government could reimpose the restrictions with little to no notice, depending on the security situation.
