U.S. Embassy to Azerbaijan commented on injury of ANAMA employee in landmine explosion

 

"We were saddened to learn that an ANAMA employee was injured in a landmine explosion today," Embassy of the United States of America to the Republic of Azerbaijan noted on X, Paralel.Az reports.

"The United States is firmly committed to supporting Azerbaijan in its efforts to rid the country of landmines. We offer condolences to all landmine victims and their families," the Embassy stressed.

Note that a landmine explosion occurred today in the territory of Gaybali village of Azerbaijan's Shusha district, which was liberated from occupation. ANAMA employee Guliyev Elchin Aydin, born in 1981, sustained injuries as a result of an anti-personnel landmine explosion while performing his duty.
