Dmytro Kuleba said that he started his visit to New Delhi at the invitation of the Indian Foreign Minister and noted that this visit is important for the relations between the two countries.
"I began my visit to New Delhi upon Dr. S. Jaishankar’s invitation. The Ukrainian-Indian cooperation is important and we will be reinvigorating ties. Building on the dialogue between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Narendra Modi, we will pay specific attention to the Peace Formula," he underscored.
Recall that this visit comes a week after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin. India has so far avoided criticizing Moscow over the war in Ukraine. Instead, New Delhi emphasized the need for diplomacy and dialogue to end the conflict. India has also expressed its willingness to contribute to peace efforts.
