On January 30, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has met with Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Alexander Kurenkov, the Cabinet of Minister told Paralel.Az.

During the meeting, the high level of the Azerbaijan-Russia strategic partnership was emphasized. The active development of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, including the prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergency situations, was emphasized.

The parties noted the importance of signing the Joint Action Plan for 2024-2026 between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

At the meeting, the prospects for expanding Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergencies were discussed.
