"The West's strategy to strategically defeat Russia has failed”, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia said in an interview with TV journalist Dmitry Kiselyov, Paralel.Az’s Moscow bureau reports.

According to him, the USA has called Russia an enemy, if so, Moscow is ready for any development of events.

Lavrov said more states are supporting Russia.

"The vast majority of the states did not join the sanctions. No one knows what Washington is not going to like in the morning, anybody can become a target of the sanctions”, Russia’s FM emphasized.

Lavrov also announced the main trends of international development that are observed in the world. Lavrov stated that these are the establishment of a multipolar, multicentric world and de-dollarisation.

“American globalization has collapsed due to the pandemic and sanctions. Now everything is scattered to local regions. Everyone is tired of the dollar”, Lavrov added.
