"Our young athletes performed well in this World Cup stop, and I'm so happy to see that," said Qi, a four-time Winter Olympian as well as men's aerials champion at Beijing 2022.

"It's true that in my age I have to put more efforts in adjusting my fitness, but I want to find my rhythm back in order to prepare well for the next Winter Olympics," said the 33-year-old veteran.

The next stop of FIS 2023/24 aerials World Cup tour will be held in Deer Valley, the United States next February.
