"If Ukraine had an ambassador in Georgia, they probably wouldn't have made such a statement," said Georgia's Prime Minister-designate Irakli Kobakhidze in response to the statement made by the Embassy of Ukraine relating to the information spread by the State Security Service, Paralel.Az reports citing Interpressnews.

Georgia's State Security Service said on Monday that it had seized a clandestine shipment of explosives bound for the Russian city of Voronezh from the Ukrainian port of Odesa.

According to him, the facts spread by the State Security Service are a proof that the high-ranking officials of the Ukrainian government want a second front in Georgia.

He noted that Ukraine has threatened Georgia's state interests.

"When someone outside the country tries to make Georgia a target of Russian aggression inside the country, this is a very serious event and very disturbing. This once again confirms what, in principle, the high-ranking officials of the Ukrainian government openly said that they wanted and probably still want a second front in our country. Such facts that we have seen, which were revealed by the the State Security Service, are another confirmation of all this," said Kobakhidze.
