Administrative punishment is being determined for military personnel who spread information about the movement or dislocation of personnel, military weapons, ammunition or military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was reflected in the new Article 614-1, which was discussed in the Human Rights Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) and proposed to be added to the Criminal Code recommended to the plenary session of the Parliament.

According to the Article, administrative arrest will be imposed for a period of ten days to one month - for circulation of information about the movement or dislocation of military personnel, military weapons, ammunition or military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the media, as well as, dissemination of information in the Internet information resources or information telecommunication network by military personnel or military officials summoned to the assemblage.
