The Russian Ministry of Justice has launched a lawsuit against LGBT movement, Paralel.Az reports.

The lawsuit has been launched to categorize the international LGBT movement as an extremist organization.

The aim of this legal action is to completely ban the activities of this organization within Russian borders. If the court aligns with the Ministry’s stance, the activities related to the LGBT movement could face prohibition, while the organization itself would join the list of extremist groups outlawed in Russia.
