Another attempted violation of Russian border by Ukrainian troops thwarted
Another attempted violation of Russia’s state border by Ukrainian troops has been thwarted in the Belgorod Region, journalist Pavel Zarubin said, citing Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.
"On Friday, the enemy made another attempt to trespass the Russian border in the Belgorod Region. It was rebuffed. Seventy percent of troops and three tanks were eliminated," he said.
According to the Russian defense ministry, all attempts by Ukrainian forces to cross into the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk Regions from March 12 through 15 were repelled. Air strikes and artillery fire destroyed more than 550 troops, 16 tanks, 19 armored fighting vehicles, including 11 US-made Bradley vehicles, and 15 motor vehicles.
