Defense Minister Yoav Gallant discussed the situation in Israel's North in a Monday phone call with his American counterpart, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Paralel.Az reports citing The Jerusalem Post.

Gallant said, "The opportunity for a solution in the North is passing," adding that "Hezbollah continues to attach itself to Hamas - the direction is clear."

Gallant also emphasized Israel's commitment to destroy Hamas and return the hostages.
