Total number of landmine victims has risen to 369 since 2020 war, says Azerbaijan's MFA

 

"Mobilizing international efforts to combat this deadly menace is more important than ever for the sake of human life preservation," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan posted in this regard on its X account, Paralel.Az reports.

"Yesterday and today, one Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) employee was killed and several severely injured in a yet another Armenia-planted landmine explosion. As a result, the total number of landmine victims has risen to 369 since the 2020 war. Mobilizing international efforts to combat this deadly menace is more important than ever for the sake of human life preservation," the ministry highlighted in the post.
