Iran initiates criminal case on crash of helicopter carrying President Raisi

 

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the accident of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Asghar Jahangir, the judiciary's spokesperson of Iran said at a press conference, Paralel.Az reports.

"A criminal case has been initiated in the judicial organization of the armed forces regarding the accident of the helicopter carrying President Ebrahim Raisi. The case is being monitored by law enforcement officers," the spokesman said.

Noted that on May 19, President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and several other officials were killed as a result of a helicopter crash in the territory of Iran. The causes of the accident are being investigated.
