Russian President Putin to go on a state visit to Uzbekistan

 

A phone call took place between the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Paralel.Az’s Moscow correspondent reports citing Kremlin’s press service.

According to the information, during the phone call, the progress of preparations for Putin's upcoming state visit to Uzbekistan was discussed. In this context, a number of practical issues of bilateral cooperation, including future development in the trade and economic sphere, were touched upon.

"Putin also shared his impressions of the talks with the Chinese leadership in Beijing.

Both sides confirmed the desire to further strengthen the relations of alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan,” – was noted in the information of Kremlin.
