During 2023, direct investments from Azerbaijan to the foreign economy amounted to USD 3 billion 117.4 million, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The volume of this indicator has increased by 2.7 times or USD 1 billion 964.8 million compared to the corresponding period of last year. So, during 2022, the volume of direct investments from Azerbaijan to the foreign economy amounted to USD 1 billion 152.6 million.

Noted that the most direct investment from Azerbaijan was invested in the economy of Türkiye. During the reporting period, USD 1 billion 815.1 million were invested in Türkiye from Azerbaijan, which is 7.4 times more than the year.
