The number of early marriages prevented last year has been announced, says the annual report of the National Coordinator on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings for 2023, Paralel.Az reports.

Within the framework of the implementation of the National Action Plan, measures to strengthen the control of births occurring out of the medical institutions, detection of early marriages based on such factors were also kept under control and 293 early marriages were prevented during the reporting year.

Noted that citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan living both inside the country and abroad have the opportunity to get online birth and death registration, family status and references about family members through the “Mobile population” application – subsystem “Mobile notary” app in the reporting year.
