EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell nominated Estonian diplomat Toivo Klaar as the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Paralel.Az reports.

He is currently serving as the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia. He has previously served as the Head of Division for Central Asia in the EEAS.
