Vice President: World Bank has tripled its green digital investments to $700 million
"As the largest multilateral financier of climate-related action in developing countries, the World Bank is committed to supporting sustainable and inclusive digital transformation," World Bank's Vice President for Digital Transformation, Sangbu Kim, told Paralel.Az.
He noted that just last year, the Bank tripled its green digital investments to $700 million and remains committed to expanding its support in the future.
“The World Bank highly values the COP29 Presidency for raising awareness about the role of digital technologies in climate action through the Declaration on Green Digital Action. The World Bank supports the Declaration,” the Vice President added.
