CMO Chairman: Freedom of belief is under serious threat in France

“Protests against members of the Islamic religion continue in France,” said Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh during his speech at the international scientific conference on the “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku, Paralel.Az reports.

He said that the freedom of belief is under serious threat in this country.

“Drawing caricatures of the Prophet of Islam, burning the Holy Quran, cases of public insults, aggression against mosques - this is the reality of self-proclaimed democratic Europe in the 21st century,” he added.
