“There are opportunities to further deepen our relations with Azerbaijan,” said US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark W. Libby during the press conference, Paralel.Az reports.

Diplomat emphasized that he is pleased to start working in Azerbaijan.

According to him, the US has cooperation, priorities with Azerbaijan in various fields, as well as in energy security, climate change, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Ambassador also noted that there were some misunderstandings in relations in past months.

“My agenda is positive, I will continue to work for the sake of our common interests,” – diplomat added.
